I
started Jazzercising about 6 years ago at Floyds Knobs Jazzercise in the
building behind where we are now! Do you
remember that building? The floors were
a little bit slanted but we were never without a great workout with amazing instructors
and a super fun time! I was always glad
I decided to turn off the news and race up here for an hour of “me time”! I took a few years off and boy, was I not
happy with how I felt. I constantly
thought about my thighs, my weight, my health, and I felt guilty for not taking
care of myself! I was about to hit 40
and I made the decision that I would be in the best shape of my life…or at
least be on the path! I started Jazzercise
again about 4 years ago and became an instructor and owner 3 years ago. Being a part of this Jazzercise family has
given me energy, strength, and a renewal of spirit! I’m around women who are girls at heart and I
can’t help but smile and be grateful for my Floyds Knobs Jazzercise
family! Not only has this been great for
my booty (yes, I said it!) but it has been just what my soul and heart
needed! I’m not so business minded so
when I shifted my thoughts to being mission minded with FK Jazzercise,
everything changed for me! I’m not in it
for the money but for the change that happens to each of us when we are around
other women, the excitement that happens when we are proud for making the
decision to trek to Jazzercise for the hour, and for the deep sense I have to
be a positive force in the lives of each friend I make and walk this path
with.
I am the insanely blessed
wife of Chris Green and we have three super awesome kids! Jack Brown is a sophomore at Cincinnati
Christian University studying ministry and business, Gracie Brown is a freshman
at Ozark Christian College in Joplin, MO studying intercultural missions, and
Tyler Green is a sixth grader at Highland Hills! We enjoy our time together and with our pets,
Lucy the Yorkie and Lilly the cat! Chris
is an accountant and business owner and I’m a former a bunch of things,
elementary teacher, seamstress, etc….
I’m still trying to figure out what I want to be when I grow up! I’m very proud of my family and feel so
blessed everyday!
I would love for our center
to grow and be a big blessing and positive part of many others lives! We have so much room for growth and I welcome
any ideas you have to help us keep reaching out and growing! Thank you all for your sincere support and
for showing up for class! Love you all!
